Are you an innovative developer with a passion for transforming legacy systems into ground breaking solutions? We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Power Platform Developer to migrate a critical application from C# and Oracle to the dynamic Power Platform. In this role, you'll use your expertise in Power Apps, Dataverse, and Power Automate to modernize and improve our application's functionality. You'll collaborate with a globally distributed team of dedicated software and quality engineers, as well as product partners and business analysts, to deliver impactful solutions that drive our business forward. As a Power Apps Developer you will:

  • Design, develop, and deploy solutions using the Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
  • Write and modify scripts and code for enhancing the Power Platform experience (C#, JavaScript, Power Fx).
  • Collaborate with product partners, software engineers, quality engineers and IT business analysts to uncover opportunities to deliver new business value through software.
  • Promote and apply agile (SAFe) principles and methodologies.
  • Exercise creative problem-solving skills when performing end-to-end testing, troubleshooting and end-user support.
  • Ensure alignment to development standards, governance, and security policies.

  • Participating in Agile ceremonies and all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Mentoring other engineers on the team.
  • Building interpersonal relationships by working closely with the Engineering Manager, Product Partner, Quality Engineers, and Analysts in a globally distributed environment.
  • Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Technical Skills and Preferred experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working in a financial institution or regulated industry.
  • 5+ years Development experience with 3+ years building and deploying solutions using the Power Platform suite.
  • SQL for databases.
  • Programming languages and web development technologies: C#.Net, JavaScript, Typescript, React, and Power FX.
  • Azure cloud services.
  • GitHub for source control.
  • Jira and Confluence for task and content management.
  • Jenkins, Snyk, and SonarQube for DevOps pipelines.
  • Bonus for Power Platform certifications such as PL-100 and PL-400.

Salary range is expected to be between

$74,270.00 CAD - $137,930.00 CAD
