Job Description:

What will you do?

  • Communicating with our business partners in an effective and timely manner.
  • Scheduling and managing the team’s work.
  • Identify & resolve blockers that team encounters.
  • Taking ownership of simple support/project issues and engaging the appropriate resources to reach resolution.
  • Ensuring potential issues are tracked and escalated in a timely manner.
  • Supporting a work environment that promotes knowledge sharing, customer service, quality, innovation, and teamwork.
  • Accountable for how the team operates.
  • Leading the team’s initiative from the Work Manager direction.
  • Understand, determine and implement better processes for the team.
  • Point of escalation for the team.

What do you need to succeed?

  • College or university degree, preferably with a systems background or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working in an Agile/Kanban/Scrum environment.
  • 2+ years of experience with Incident & Problem Management.
  • 2+ years of experience in managing production support issues, escalations, and priorities to resolve application incidents.

    The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted.  It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.  In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.  Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
