Senior Product Executive Product Management (Money Transfer & FX)

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end management of Money Transfer and Foreign Exchange (FX) products throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Drive product enhancements, feature development, and new product initiatives based on customer needs, market trends, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
  • Prepare business requirements, product documentation, process flows, and user stories to support product implementation.
  • Coordinate product development activities with Technology, Operations, Digital Banking, Compliance, Risk, and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation planning, and post-launch monitoring.
  • Continuously review product performance and recommend enhancements to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.

Product Performance & Business Support

  • Monitor product performance, transaction volumes, customer adoption, and profitability.
  • Analyze customer behavior, market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to identify opportunities for product improvements and business growth.
  • Prepare business cases and product proposals to support new initiatives and enhancements.
  • Assist in developing product pricing, campaigns, and value propositions to enhance competitiveness.
  • Support the achievement of business targets for Money Transfer and FX products.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Treasury, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Risk, Marketing, Digital Banking, Customer Experience, and Business teams to deliver product initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support implementation of new capabilities, process improvements, and strategic projects.
  • Liaise with payment partners, correspondent banks, vendors, and service providers where required to support product delivery.

Organizational Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver product initiatives and business objectives.
  • Build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support business transformation initiatives and continuous process improvement.
  • Promote a customer-centric, collaborative, and compliance-focused culture.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, payment innovations, and competitor offerings.

Education / Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications in Product Management, Banking, Payments, Project Management, Agile, or Digital Banking would be an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in Product Management, Product Development, Digital Banking, Payments, Money Transfer, Foreign Exchange (FX), Transaction Banking, or Financial Services.
  • Hands-on experience managing product enhancements, product development, and product lifecycle activities.
  • Exposure to cross-border payments, remittance services, foreign exchange products, or digital payment solutions would be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of banking products, customer journeys, and operational processes.
  • Possesses strong business acumen with the ability to balance commercial objectives and operational considerations.

Technical Skills

  • Good understanding of: Product Management and Product Development methodologies
  • Cross-border payments and digital payment ecosystems
  • Digital banking platforms and customer journeys
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business documentation.
