Cleveland Clinic offers a complete range of fertility specialty services for both men and women, including traditional therapies, IVF, intracytoplasmic sperm injection, sperm aspiration, assisted hatching, blastocyte transfer, embryo cryopreservation, donor eggs and sperm, and IVY surrogacy. As an In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Technologist, you will work in the fertility laboratories at Beachwood Family Health & Surgery Center to:
Perform andrology procedures and testing.
Determine the validity of test results and communicate those results, reference ranges, specimen requirements, and other pertinent information to authorized sources.
Upon completion of training, perform basic embryology procedures such as egg retrievals, sperm preparation, mouse quality control, and embryo transfers.
Actively participate in ongoing research.
Assist in data analysis and manuscript writing.
The ideal future caregiver is someone who:
Is interested in fertility and embryology.
Has two years of research experience in cell biology or a related field. A master’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical terminology may substitute for some of the experience.
Has extensive experience in cell culture, immunofluorescent, or molecular biology techniques.
Treats all patients and their families with compassion, empathy, and positivity.
