The Senior Manager, Service Management Opportunity

The Senior Manager for Service Management is the product owner for the ServiceNow platform, which is used by teams in Business Technology, Security, and HR. This role reports to the Senior Director of Global Support and will manage a team in the US and India.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Develop and implement a ServiceNow roadmap that aligns with IT and business strategies, driving innovation and continuous improvement. 
  • Recruit, develop, mentor and manage a high performing team of ServiceNow developers.
  • Manage demand intake for the team: planning, forecasting and managing team tasks and projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Lead project planning, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure successful on-time delivery of projects.
  • Stay up to date with ServiceNow platform upgrades, new features, and best practices to continually evolve the platform’s capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners across Okta who depend on the ServiceNow platform for current and future capabilities
  • Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 8+ years of proven experience as an IT manager leading a development team with a track record of continued growth and responsibilities
  • ServiceNow (or equivalent ITSM tool) platform experience - including good working understanding of the ITSM, HR, and Security modules.
  • Vendor management and SaaS software experience

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:
$174,000$262,000 USD
