Introduction
This is a Senior Staff Corporate Strategy at GlobalFoundries, responsible for defining and driving GF’s long-term strategic objectives through enhancement and execution of various processes within the business. This team collaborates closely with the CEO office and other C-suite leaders to drive high impact, cross-functional programs which enable our long-term, sustainable, profitable growth.
Members of this team grow rapidly through:
Direct end-to-end accountability to deliver transformational work.
High touch with executive leaders including formal mentorship.
Rotation through functions to develop a well-rounded knowledge of the business.
Ability to quickly build and leverage an internal network.
Exposure to high impact, cross-functional programs and workstreams.
Your Job:
Support strategic projects, helping define and implement KPI-based metrics to determine project efficiency and effectiveness and follow through to ensure execution.
Support cross-functional teams and senior management (including CXOs) to define business processes and solutions for program and resource management, gain stakeholder alignment and execute.
Gather information from different data sources and build solid financial models to support business decisions.
Develop data analytics, modeling, and estimation methodologies to translate market developments into business impact.
Work with the CXO office to provide background information and specific market research data to support comprehensive plans and opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Mathematics
6+ years of relevant experience in professional environments, such as top consulting firms, investment banks, or corporate finance functions while working in close collaboration with the CEO and top corporate executives.
Prior experience in consulting firms is preferred.
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Familiarity with semiconductor industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-driven personality with exceptional analytical skills, structured work style and ability to understand complex matters quickly.
Project management skills – planning & driving execution/implementation.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite - data analytics and modeling in Excel and presentation/visualization in PPT
