Your role

As an IT Business Partner, you play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technology and business strategy. Your primary responsibility is to align technology solutions with the needs of your assigned business units. You execute this by managing a multi-disciplinary development team, internal- and external stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibility is to collaborate and build strong relationships both inside and outside the IT Team with the purpose of aligning the priorities and deliveries to be performed. Delivery performance is executed by managing a multi-disciplinary, multicultural team of IT project managers, testers, and developers. You also manage multiple service providers. You bring cross-functional teams together to drive meaningful results to prosper and excel in delivery of the solutions necessary.

You establish value management as a strategic organizational capability, ensuring that the business’s products, services, and resources are tailored to meet the specific needs and expectations of the company, within the given frameworks. Of importance of your activities is managing the different incentives and expectations, varying from all internal and external areas impacting the company, in line with the roadmap. Together with the team you commit, design, and deliver these solutions in a way that drives the greatest possible value and impact, to ensure profitability, compliancy, carrying out the strategies and executing excellent resource management.

You demonstrate strong communication, management, and collaboration skills during your daily activities. You’re skilled at conflict negotiation and achieving alignment, meanwhile setting borders, and striving to move forward.

Your focus is on delivering value to stakeholders, identifying root causes of issues and gaps. Anticipate changes in the external environment and drive continuous improvement and evolution across the organization.

You are

  • Fluent in Dutch and English and you are located in the Netherlands.

  • University degree in a relevant field.

  • 5+ years of experience in managing team members with different management styles.

  • Multiple years of program management and change management experience.

  • Experience in either consumer finance, Automotive finance, and Leasing industry.

  • Understanding of how systems work and the technical thinking patterns of your colleagues.

  • Strong communication and management skills, technical to functional translation skills and vice versa.

  • Strategic thinking, analytic and problem-solving ability

  • Ability to build strong relationships and understanding the needs and agendas of others.

  • Skilled at achieving alignment, considering different stakeholders and initiatives, and managing expectations.

  • Solution-thinking mentality
