Implementation Consultant Role – LMA Professional Services EMEA– Enterprise Solutions

The Team:

The LMA (Liquid Multi Assets) Professional Services team for Enterprise Solutions is a global team of knowledgeable and enthusiastic consultants with wide range of skills and capabilities.

We manage, configure, and consult with clients to deliver initial onboarding as well as extended use case configuration and change requests for Software Solutions Products comprising; thinkFolio and EDM.

Our extensive project experience helps customers establish an effective target operating model and define suitable solution workflows to support it. This allows us to add value at every step of organizational transformation. We look at the business processes the solution supports; considering areas of focus related to system performance or new business requirements; and doing health checks of the system configuration.

This allows us to deliver successful client engagements spanning multiple segments and industry verticals.

Responsibilities:

The role is wide and varied and requires skills and experience in either EDM, thinkFolio or both to support the following activities:

  • Provide product implementation consulting services to customers including the ability to understand challenges/requirements, provide recommendations, define implementation proposal, and execute the delivery
  • Configure and validate the products per specification provided, including building the interfaces, validations, rules, mappings, workflows and permissions
  • Work with the team to review requirements, establish estimates and work breakdown plans, and identify and manage issues/risks
  • Participate, and where appropriate lead, EDM/thinkFolio Solution Design activities
  • Document, analyses and map the different data feeds that populate/retrieve data to/from the S&P Market Intelligence solutions
  • Work closely with various stakeholders including End Users, Development, Quality Assurance, Business Analysts, Program Managers and other Business Leaders to deliver successful implementation projects
  • Participates in the testing process for new product versions and client testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT, parallel, etc.) during implementation to ensure deliverables are aligned with requirements and performant
  • Assist in handover meetings to ensure S&P Support and Client Management teams have a thorough understanding of the implementation
  • Supports and contributes to EDM/thinkFolio best practices from project and product experience gained
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to support the global team and clients across multiple regions and time zones

What we’re looking for:

  • A driven individual who can work well independently and within a team environment
  • Someone who is a quick learner and demonstrates strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders involved in both internal and external projects
  • Ability to navigate and collaborate with multiple partner departments within S&P, including Support, Sales, Development, Product, and Account Management
  • Practical experience with project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.)
  • Experience in reviewing current holistic operating models with a view to future state target operating models and architecture
  • Business knowledge of financial markets and the asset management industry
  • Ability to understand clients' requirements and align S&P solutions to meet their needs
  • A natural, consultative style essential for building client relationships and meeting the evolving demands of a diverse client base
  • Willingness to learn and deepen knowledge in EDM and thinkFolio
  • Hold a university degree or have equivalent education

  • Knowledge of either EDM or thinkFolio
  • Financial software life cycle
  • SQL coding experience and knowledge is desirable
