Position Summary:

The Procurement Coordinator I plays a key role in the procurement operations associated with NPI and production hardware, software, professional services, facilities, marketing and technology support.  You will collaborate with various internal partners and vendors to successfully execute the purchasing process for existing and new commodities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute against company policies and purchasing procedures while working closely with internal partners and Accounts Payable.  Includes reviewing requests, purchase order management, contract execution administration and systems/documentation maintenance.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of all purchase orders and expedite as needed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the engineering community and strategic sourcing team.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the supply base and internal customers.
  • Utilize data reporting to provide process updates.
  • Identify opportunities for more efficient procurement processes. 

Other Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties of a similar level and resolve issues diplomatically.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • 0-2 years purchasing experience
  • MS Suite skills a plus
  • ERP system experience (Oracle preferred) a plus
  • Confident, discrete and professional

Physical Demands and Work Environment: 

  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.  Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone and read printed material.
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
  • Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 5% or less of the time spent traveling.

The annual base pay for this position is: $43,200.00 - $64,800.00
