Position Summary: The Director of Sales, Banking will lead premium sales and partnership growth across the financial services sector — including major banks, private equity firms, private wealth groups, hedge funds, and asset managers. Operating out of New York City and reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role will own the banking vertical end-to-end, from developing strategic relationships to delivering premium access for marquee global events (Super Bowl, Olympics, UFC, WWE, F1, FIFA World Cup 26, and more).
This leader must have extensive experience selling to financial institutions, a strong network within financial services, and a proven track record in achieving ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Generation:
Actively sell premium inventory (premium tickets, hospitality suites, premium experiences, etc.) across On Location’s portfolio.
Expand penetration across financial institutions by identifying new buyers, cross-division opportunities, and high-propensity segments.
Cold & Warm call to grow the banking business around the world
· Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to ensure targets are met.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships across major financial institutions.
Serve as On Location’s primary point of contact for key finance industry clients.
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
Use data-driven insights to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance and profitability.
Reporting and Analytics:
Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities and client interactions
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for premium tickets, hospitality packages, and premium experiences for financial sector
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets for premium products or services.
Strong network of contacts within business and finance sectors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel as required.

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.
