Job Description:

SUMMARY: 

Responsible for the internal communications of property and marketing promotional information. Develops more team member awareness in the area of promotions by implementing programs that enrich departments. Provides assistance and support to special events.

            

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  •      Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members.  Performs excellent customer service at all time.

  •      Participates in formulating and administering promotional notices property wide.

  •     Conceptualizes and designs creative, innovative ideas to inform and motivate team members to bring promotional awareness to departments.

  •      Develops strategies, executes communication plans, and tracks results for keeping all Team Members informed on important promotions with materials and updates in a timely, relevant, and engaging manner.

  •      Proactively identify new opportunities and develop new programs to continually amplify internal communications.

  •      Deploys and manages the internal communication strategy that promotes the company brand, culture, and engagement.

  •      Responsible for internal communication content such as messaging, marketing material, presentations, and overall network initiatives.

  •      Provide support to the Special Events Manager, including but not limited to verbal and written communications, and completing pertinent documents.

  •      Maintains effective communication with all departments and builds relationships.

  •      Writes promotional copy and internal articles.

  •      Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record.

  •      Performs marketing tasks as assigned.

  •      Performs any reasonable request made by management.

  •     May be used to assist with on and off property events as needed by management.

  •     May be used as an usher as needed by management for events.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

           EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED Required. One to two years of position related experience preferred. Experience working with the public required.     

           SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Multi-lingual in Spanish and/or Asian languages required. Must possess excellent customer service skills, communication, and organizational skills. Must be familiar with, and able to operate computers and printers. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to adapt and perform efficiently in accordance to high-volume needs and unforeseen transitions.

COMPUTER and TELEPHONE ETTIQUETTE:

Must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent calendar management skills. Must have a positive tone and clear enunciation.

           LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Bilingual, Spanish preferred. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other Team Members. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Excellent written and verbal skills required. Ability to speak effectively before large groups of customers or Team Members of company.

           MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

           Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

           REASONING ABILITY:

           Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram     form.  Ability to deal with several concrete variables.
