What you’ll do:

  • Create/maintain MRP/CRM program for Pressure/Level and Radiometric products.
  • Provide engineering assistance and as required facilitate the development of bills of material/drawings by the engineering design group when special engineering is required.
  • Work with internal and external customers on special design needs required to fit specific applications.
  • Review order documentation, consult with sales personnel, and identify equipment specifications when the model number entered in the configuration program does not automatically generate bills of material.
  • Support the VEGA Modification Workflow (ECN) through knowledge of process and product change requests from internal and external customers.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple tasks
  • Consult with Sales personnel and identify unique equipment requirements when product configuration does not match possible product configurations available in the CRM – Product configurator.

Product Configuration

  • Review the To-Do system in TopVIS for special customer requests.
  • Manages the CRM system for special configurations either driven through the ECN Process or through Special Modification requests.
  • Work effectively with all departments within the organization to fulfill external customers' special product requirements.

ECN Coordination

  • Works with all departments to facilitate and maintain the ECN/Modification Process from beginning to end
  • Proactively monitors the Modification Process and identifies bottlenecks that need to be addressed to facilitate its progress
  • Interfaces with VEGA Germany to keep apprised of Modification procedural or process changes

Label Coordination

  • Review label requirements for products, design and layout in MRP & label program as required
  • Set-up and installation of all Production laser engraving machines
  • Support and Maintain laser engraving machines on the production floor
  • Coordination internally & externally with manufacturers when service is required on machines

What you need:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school
  • OR six months to one-year related experience
  • And/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Mechanical Aptitude with an ability to follow assembly drawings.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
