In this role:

Technical & Consultative Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for knowing proper specimen handling techniques for laboratory samples and interferences in the sample that may affect the test results.
  • You will be responsible for knowing tests offered by the Reference Laboratories, VetLab & Rapid Assay; specimen requirements for each of these tests; clinical utility of each test; and how to interpret results, especially IDEXX exclusive tests (i.e., SDMA, proBNP, Lyme Quant C6 & Spec cPL/fPL)
  • You will be responsible for understanding technology behind IHD tests offered by IDEXX (i.e., SNAP tests & VetLab products)

  • You will participate in IDEXX educational or organizational meetings as they arise.

Call Tracking

  • You will be expected to enter all information regarding consultations into the Customer Relationship Management System software.

Training

  • Your first 3 weeks will consist of virtual training.
