Your key responsibilities
The role will sit within the Smartphone Category team
Key impact will be driven by in-depth understanding of the stakeholders’ (cross functional directors and VPs) priorities and form a pragmatic approach to propose strategic approaches in driving demand
Responsible for the formulation of the European strategy, covering 5 key areas

Market Demand
Co-ordinate across 16 Europe Subsidiaries the over-arching shape of the market demand through local market understanding
Correlate across multiple data sources as well as Subsidiaries’ local sensing to categorise and cluster market growth opportunities and risks
Collaborate closely with category directors to link market demands trends with portfolio and revenue planning
Price
Work closely with Business Operations and Category teams to model the whole value chain of MX product pricing
Includes but not limited to (1) market price, (2) whole sale price, (3) pricing compliance
Engage in regular update with Commercial Strategy VP and Category directors to regulate and evaluate optimal pricing strategy to market demand
Competition
Establish the cadence for effective competition sensing
Partner with the Senior Data Systems Manager and Head of Smartphone to setup effective tools for timely competition understanding
Build relational and query data base to facilitate ETO category teams understanding and utilisation of TechInsights, GfK and Meta data
Maintain near-real-time competition tracking and sensing tools in line with Category directors’ priorities
Partner CoCoCo
Implement a clear and compelling visualisations and reports that translate Partner activities into insights and actional recommendations
Big Data Utilisation
Team up with Category Director and Senior Data Systems Manager to regularly engage with Suwon big data team to identify:
New insights through big data
Identify and test potential hypothesis towards business growth
Solicitate the support of Suwon teams to build reports for ETO
Advocacy in AI driven insights
Explore and apply AI driven tools and methodologies to enhance data analysis, scenarios planning
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Advanced knowledge and familiarity with SQL a must
Established expertise in advanced data analytics and modelling a must
Demonstrated experience in cross functional collaboration and influence a strong plus
Extensive experience with internal systems and/ or business intelligence platforms a strong plus
Work towards tight timescales
Influence key members of the product category teams across geographies
Work cross-culturally with European and International colleagues
Communicate confidently with Executive level stakeholders
Innovate with purpose to create impact
Experience with process improvement and driving data-centric decision making highly preferred
