Director, Site Reliability Engineering, Brampton, ON
As the Director of SRE, you will be a leader in both the SRE organization and the broader enterprise Technology division. You will be responsible for leading Loblaw Digital and enterprise-wide initiatives in guiding our overall modernization, cloud-native, and observability strategy. You'll combine software engineering and systems engineering principles to influence product and infrastructure roadmaps. You will lead teams in building tools and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications, improve reliability, stability, and optimize system performance and cost – all to push our capabilities forward, get ahead of customer needs, and drive continuous innovation.
Working closely with the Senior Director SRE, and acting as a key member of the technology leadership team, the Director of SRE at Loblaw Technology will be accountable for three key technology functions in supporting the broader technology and business teams at Loblaw Digital: 1) Technical Program Management, 2) Technical Application Support and 3) Cloud Architecture and Systems Design.
