Industrial Engineer Discovery Representative

Why This Role
The Discovery Representative Program is a 3-9 month development program designed to build foundational business and operational skills. As an Industrial Engineer Discovery Rep, you’ll work on real business challenges involving process improvement, data analysis, and operational optimization. At the end of the program, leaders will help with placing you in a full-time role aligned to your strengths and interests.
What You’ll Do
Analyze business, operational, and supply chain processes to identify improvement opportunities
Use Excel (advanced), SQL, and analytics tools to evaluate data and performance
Develop and track KPIs and operational metrics
Support Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma initiatives, including root cause analysis
Create process maps and value stream maps to document current and future states
Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
Support project planning, documentation, and stakeholder updates
Participate in TD SYNNEX training and development activities
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in: Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Business/Data Analytics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including root cause analysis
Demonstrated experience or coursework in process improvement, operations analysis, or Lean methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SQL preferred
Ability to communicate insights clearly and work effectively across teams
Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment & Compensation
Hybrid role (3+ days onsite)
Occasional non-standard hours as business needs require
Actual annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. The Discovery Representative Program average starting rate is approximately $23.00 per hour.
