For the EMEA Jordan Brand Partner Marketing Lead we are looking for an experienced and talented brand marketeer with a strong understanding of the Streetwear and Sport industry. A marketeer that is experienced in brand, account, digital and retail marketing and keen to envision future ‘greatness’. Someone who can lift-up outside their role or functional silo, progressing work forward for the greater good of the organization. We are looking for a strong relationship builder who can effectively manage and maintain trust with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the business. An individual who is highly driven to help achieve results with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects with different and converging timelines. Someone who holds themselves and their teammates accountable and are self-driven to continue the legacy of this brand, able to demonstrate independent thinking while obsessing the last mile to ensure success. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON 

As part of the EMEA Jordan Brand Partner Marketing team you will be responsible for shaping the future vision of the Partner Marketing strategy and how the Jordan Brand shows up across our partner channels while managing the end-to-end Partner Marketing relationship.  You will oversee the Zalando marketing offence in close partnership with the Jordan Partner Marketing Director and Jordan and Partner Marketplace cross functional teams 

You work across diverse cross functional teams to craft full funnel O2O marketing plans and consumer journeys that prioritise brand initiatives and foundational business drivers, delivering strategy centered on consumer engagement, geography priorities and key KPI’s. 

You will own the consumer experiences, content and marketing plans at our partners from strategy to execution. You bring deep appreciation for brand storytelling, embrace a consumer first mentality and have retail brand and commercial competence. 

 

This will include working within the broader Nike/Jordan Brand organization to deliver projects, collaborating across multiple workstreams at the same time, communicating with cross-functional partners and leading seasonal partner plans from beginning to end. You will translate brand, athlete, and seasonal strategies into distinctive yet complimentary marketing plans & executions across our partner ecosystem. 

 

In the role core responsibilities will include: 

  • Setting a bold Vision for our Zalando Partner Marketing Strategy that supports the consumer led, integrated marketplace Jordan Strategy. 

  • Drive and influence multi-seasonal planning during the Go to Market process in close partnership with the cross functional internal and external teams. Translating Global/ Geo vision to a consumer right seasonal approach ensuring precision and impact across key priorities, KPI’s and hind sighting process for our Partners. 

  • Deliver briefs, seasonal directives and tools that power partner plans aligned to Brand priorities, partnering with key Jordan/Nike Brand Global Brand partners and other Geography cross-functional partners that serve the geo marketplace with end in mind. 

  • Manage and positively influence the total Jordan experience within the Partner’s ecosystem through an omni-channel approach and connecting it back into our own Jordan destinations. 

  • You will obsess retail marketing executions and staff training regarding seasonal tools tied to initiatives along with key services that enable epic consumer experiences. 

  • Lead reporting and effective sharing of the Partner Marketing success metrics on Partner channels. 

  • Partner with city teams on seasonal planning to amplify local plans with impact. 

  • Create a continuous communication program, building loyalty propositions that drive year-round Consumer/Connected Member engagement.  

  • Partner with Jordan Partner Marketing Director and Account Commercial Director on budget allocation and management to drive your consumer marketing plans and priorities. 

  • Gather structured and continuous consumer insights to translate into an actionable plan that helps us better serve our consumer and feedback to the internal account team, marketing functions and wider EMEA team to help serve longer-term seasonal concepts. 

  • Develop deep relationships with the account team, the accounts’ marketing and buying teams to continue to understand the business, create opportunities and drive a collective vision. 

  • Think creatively and bring forth bold innovative solutions creating new and better ways for us to be successful and grow. 

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH 

 

In this role, you will report to the Jordan Brand Director of Partner Marketing with a dotted line into Nike Partner Marketing. You will work cross functionally across Jordan and Nike Brand and other Geography cross-functional partners. You will work with merchandising and product teams during certain seasonal gates owning store strategic direction from ideation to marketplace handover. You will participate in weekly creative review sessions that enable Marketing objectives for Jordan stores inclusive of imagery and messaging, delivering on strategies that ladder to seasonal plans. 

The role will work closely with key Jordan partners to create direction that serves the best of the Jordan Brand in the EMEA marketplace, leading with multi-brand environments tied to Jordan Brand digital and physical storytelling. 

 

This role will work closely with the Jordan Field of Play [Streetwear, Sport & Energy] Brand Management team to concept, build and execute flawless seasonal plans aligned to brand priorities. You will also work closely with Nike store teams to stay informed and aligned on Nike Store format updates, providing Jordan Brand direction as needed.  

 

WHAT YOU BRING 

A successful candidate will be expected to clearly demonstrate and articulate experience of the below essential requirements to be considered.  Candidates that meet these criteria will then be assessed based on the competencies also outlined below. 

Essential requirements:  

  • experience in marketing - breadth and depth in marketing that allows you to immediately build credibility and confidence as an inspiring and innovative marketeer for Jordan Brand in EMEA  

  • Strong strategic thinking being able to see ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies. 

  • Previous experience in creating and operationalizing , insights and knowledge to effectively construct and drive our brand concepts and narrative. 

  • Prior experience working on an account marketing team or Category marketing team with direct responsibility for digital marketing plans/360 marketing executions (O2O) - media, membership/loyalty experience is preferred. 

  • Experience in account management with responsibility for identifying, owning and managing external relationships at all levels of an organization, with the ability to influence and therefore deliver against our joint brand and business goals. 

  • A demonstrable understanding of different consumer profiles, the way they behave within the Marketplace, with a track record of making strategic marketing decisions within this environment. 

  • Previous experience utilizing a combination of local data, insights and knowledge to effectively construct and drive our brand concepts and narrative. 

  • A proven track record of embracing change and managing through periods of uncertainty with flexibility, positivity and patience. 

Advantageous experience: 

  • Proven experience in Loyalty/Member Marketing and Targeted Marketing. 

  • Vast experience in content roll out across digital owned platforms and media. 

  • Prior experience in leveraging Media through Account Marketing channels.

  • Loyalty Marketing – Experience in Full funnel marketing with a focus on building and maintaining a customer loyalty strategy that drives retention.
