The Corporate Accountant position shares responsibility for the monthly and year-end preparation, analysis and reporting of the Company's consolidated financial statement results with end products that meet or exceed the expectations of the Board of Directors, senior management, other employees, shareholders and/or outside interests.
This position is located at our Arden Hills, MN Corporate Headquarter location (Hybrid work arrangement each week)
Related responsibilities are as follows:
Preparation of assigned schedules for the monthly corporate book of financial reports which consolidates financial information provided by business units for reporting to senior management. Examples include, but are not limited to, operating statements, EBTIDA reports, balance sheet detail schedules, interest allocations, corporate staff allocations and ROIC reporting.
Preparation of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
Complete periodic SOX testing and documentation reviews of controls to ensure accuracy and reliability of consolidated information.
Act as a liaison for Corporate Accounting for the accounting needs of the business groups as well as: Shared Services, Tax, Treasury, Risk Management, Internal Audit, FP&A, and other departments as needed.
Preparation of supporting schedules for the quarterly, interim, and year-end audits and serve as a contact for the external auditors and government surveys.
Other duties as needed.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting along with 2-4 years related accounting experience required.
Must demonstrate proficiency in Excel
Public Accounting experience and CPA preferred.
Experience with JD Edwards, Hyperion, and Blackline a plus.
Must demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be comfortable working with all levels of management.
Must be detail-oriented with financial analysis.
Salary Range: $69,040-$103,560
