The Role You Could Play 

We are looking for a passionate  and people-first Assistant Store Manager (2IC) to help lead our MECCA Narellan store in NSW in a full-time capacity working Sun-Thu.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead alongside an experienced Store Manager, inspire a high-performing team, and help create the exceptional customer experiences MECCA is known for. As our 2IC, you'll play a key role in bringing our values to life every day—leading from the front, supporting your team to grow, and ensuring every customer leaves feeling confident, inspired and beautifully looked after.  

In this role, you'll:

  • Lead by example, championing the MECCA values and creating an inclusive, positive team culture

  • Coach, develop and motivate your team to deliver outstanding customer experiences and achieve shared success

  • Partner with the Store Manager to drive commercial outcomes, sales performance and key business priorities

  • Ensure operational excellence across the store, creating seamless experiences for both customers and team members

  • Foster a collaborative environment where everyone feels empowered to learn, grow and perform at their best.

You'll be someone who:

  • Has previous leadership experience in a retail environment, with a proven ability to coach and inspire a team

  • Builds genuine connections with customers and understands the importance of creating memorable experiences

  • Leads with positivity, resilience and accountability, bringing energy to every shift

  • Is highly organised with strong operational capability and enjoys keeping the business running smoothly

  • Has experience with back-of-house operations such as inventory management, stock flow and operational planning

  • Is passionate about beauty, well-being and helping people feel like the best version of themselves.
