About you and this role

As a Senior TS&D Specialist you will be part of Dow Industrial Solutions TS&D (Technical Service & Development) team based in Navi Mumbai, India. Your role will provide technical support and development for Industrial and Consumer sector, by identifying new opportunities for unmet customer needs or new applications and converting growth opportunities to commercial success. You will closely partner with sales, marketing, and R&D (Research and Development) to fully interact and collaborate with customers in India Subcontinent to support business growth and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Business Growth

Provide on-site technical service, promote Dow products, and resolve customer application and quality issues through lab experiments and cross-functional coordination

Deliver clear technical presentations and build expertise in competitive technologies to support market-specific growth initiatives.

• Innovation

Identify customer unmet needs, translate them into technical requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and commercialize new products.

Build internal application capabilities to mimic customer processes, define material requirements, and support product and application testing.

• Technical documentation

Document work through internal reports, presentations, knowledge resources, external reports, and patents where appropriate.

• Safety

Act as an Environmental, Health & Safety advocate by ensuring compliance with policies and modelling best safety practices and behaviors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Engineering, or science related field required. Product knowledge in surfactants, solvents, acrylic polymers and rheology modifiers would be desirable.
• Minimum 5 years working experience with application development and technical support to customers

• Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills, including time management and self-direction.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, within collaborative settings.
• Effective team player in multi-disciplinary environments.
• Skilled in synthesizing scientific literature and translating insights into practical solutions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills both in English.

• The ability to accommodate flexible schedule aligned with international time Zone is essential.
