We are currently looking for a Field Operator at our Edmonton Terminal. You will be responsible for providing onsite response and services to ensure safe and efficient maintenance and operations at facilities such as terminals to support and facilitate oil movement and compliance with Regulation and Company policy. #joinourteam

What you will do:

  • Provides onsite field response and communication for CCO operational troubleshooting and initial emergency response. (i.e. equipment isolations, spill containment)  
  • Completes Receipt/Delivery tickets for Customer distribution.
  • Responsible for receipt and delivery custody transfer measurements and facilitates Customer witnessing (Meter Proving, Temperature, Density, Pressure checks, S&W testing, valve block and bleeds).
  • Responsible for Custody Transfer and Quality sample collection. (i.e. spot, composite and cylinder sampling).
  • Performs operational preventative maintenance assignments, such as routine tank inspections, level and temperature accuracy checks, fire extinguisher, safety and measurement equipment inspections. 
  • Responsible for completing security checks, operational checks, record keeping, and documentation.    
  • Completes general housekeeping duties of the Terminal grounds and facilities as requested by Terminal Supervisor.  

Who you are:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 1‐2 years of directly relevant training and experience.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with strong communication skills.
  • Requires repetitive lifting, bending, crouching, standing and lifting, up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis, physically demanding outdoor work.
  • Proficient Computer Skills and knowledge of Company applications: Click, Maximo, CTTS, CMT.
  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo various background screenings that include but are not limited to 5-year driving record on a valid Driver’s license, criminal check and a company sponsored medical and drug testing.                      

Working Conditions:

  • Shift Schedule: 12 hr. Day and Night rotation; including weekends to cover 24/7 Operations.
  • Work requires frequent exposure to adverse weather conditions and the requirement to wear protective equipment to prevent a serious or lost time injury.
