Full-time Roles

Associate Engineer:

What it takes for you to be successful:

  • You have a proven understanding of data structures, algorithms, and threading concepts and can apply them to real-world problems
  • You have an interest in learning about options trading, pricing and risk management. No prior knowledge or experience in finance is needed.
  • You are a highly motivated, humble, and collaborative team member
  • You thrive in a team-based environment filled with driven people that value a healthy work-life balance
  • You can effectively communicate ideas both written and verbally that showcase your analytical skills
  • You seek constructive feedback to grow your capabilities

Key requirements:

  • You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar field with Java, C++, or Python experience
  • You expect to graduate between December 2023-June 2024
  • You have a demonstrated record of success (academics, awards, etc.)
  • You are willing to relocate to Chicago, IL

Quant Trading Analyst:

What it takes for you to be successful:

  • You have a competitive drive and are a highly motivated individual that only gets stronger as part of a collaborative team
  • You have a desire to work in tandem with traders, quants, developers, and other experts to further CTC's goal of providing world class liquidity to financial markets
  • You love solving complex problems
  • You're intellectually curious and like to challenge the status quo
  • You can effectively communicate sophisticated ideas both written and verbally
  • You have a strong quantitative and analytical skill set
  • You have basic programming skills and a desire to learn Python, Java, or C++
  • No prior experience in finance in necessary, but a deep curiosity and a hunger to learn is essential

Key requirements:

  • You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. All majors and concentrations welcome.
  • You expect to graduate between December 2025-June 2026
  • You have a demonstrated record of success (academics, awards, etc.)
  • You are willing to relocate to Chicago, IL (limited openings in New York or London)

Internships

SE Intern:

  • You have a foundation in data structures, object-oriented programming, and algorithms, and can apply them to real-world problems 
  • You have an interest in learning about technology, trading, pricing and risk management. No prior knowledge or experience in finance is necessary, but a deep curiosity and a hunger to learn is essential 
  • You are a highly motivated, humble, and collaborative team member 
  • You thrive in a team-based environment filled with driven people that value a healthy work-life balance 
  • You can effectively communicate ideas both written and verbally that showcase your analytical skills 
  • You seek constructive feedback to grow your capabilities 

Key requirements

  • You are pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar technical field with Java, C++, or Python experience 
  • You expect to graduate between December 2024-June 2025
  • You have a demonstrated record of success (academics, awards, volunteering, community service, etc.) 
  • You are willing to relocate to Chicago, IL for the summer 

QTA Intern:

What it takes for you to be successful:
