Job Overview:
The SAP Logistics/SCM Solution Architect is a member of the SAP Development CoE team and is a key enabler to deploy quality solution in the region. The Logistics/SCM Solution Architect is a highly skilled SAP Logistics Solution Architect with comprehensive experience in SAP Order to Cash (O2C), Procure to Pay (P2P), and SAP Logistics Execution (LE)/ Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) modules.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of end-to-end implementation experience across multiple projects, possessing a deep understanding of S/4Hana logistics functionalities and integration capabilities with other SAP and non-SAP systems. Knowledge of emerging technologies such as SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and familiarity with project management tools like Tricentis, Signavio, Cloud ALM, and SAP RISE with Cloud will be advantageous. Experience with SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) modules is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture Design: Design and develop comprehensive SAP S/4Hana logistics solutions tailored to meet the specific business requirements of clients. Leverage knowledge of O2C, P2P, and EWM modules to create scalable, efficient, and integrated solutions.
End-to-End Implementation: Lead and participate in all phases of SAP implementation projects, from requirements gathering and analysis to design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Integration Expertise: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP S/4Hana logistics modules with other SAP and non-SAP systems, , ensuring data consistency and smooth flow of information across the enterprise landscape.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams and stakeholders, serving as a subject matter expert in SAP logistics solutions and architecture. Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives within the organization.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with clients, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, and align technical solutions with strategic business objectives. Act as a trusted advisor, fostering positive relationships and driving value through innovative solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in SAP S/4Hana technology, including new features, functionalities, and integration capabilities. Evaluate emerging technologies such as BTP/CPI and assess their potential impact on logistics solution architecture. Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the logistics domain.
Background & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in an SAP functional consultant role, with at least 3 full lifecycle hands-on SAP implementations.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP logistics solution architecture, with a focus on projects relating to O2C, P2P, and EWM modules.
In-depth knowledge of SAP integration methodologies and experience integrating SAP systems with third-party applications.
Familiarity with emerging technologies such as SAP BTP, CPI and project management tools like Tricentis, Signavio, Cloud ALM, and SAP RISE with Cloud. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and lead technical discussions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
SAP SCM and APO experience with high-level understanding of sales forecasting, demand planning, sales & operations planning, strategic sourcing, and distribution strategies is a plus.
