At NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia University Irving Medical Center, our Physical Therapists use advanced technology and best-practice techniques to restore and maximize patient mobility. We offer one-on-one therapies tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.  As a part of our tight-knit team, you will assist patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within their capabilities.

This is a non-rotating, full-time position (shifts Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) with weekend and holiday coverage at NYP Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Preferred Criteria

• Experience with patients s/p orthopedic surgery.
• Vestibular Rehab competency course through APTA
• Knowledge of postoperative protocols.
• Experience with patients following neurological diagnoses include Stroke, Parkinsons disease.
• Masters degree or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• APTA Board certified clinical specialist.

Required Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from a recognized college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with 1 year in adult outpatient rotation.
• Senior Physical Therapist status or equivalent.
• New York State license as a Physical Therapist.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

$59.7-$69.96/Hourly
