PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES PERFORMED BY THE INCUMBENT.
•Oversees the inbound functions of all components, materials and consumables from vendors
•Oversees the inventory control activities. This includes oversight of the cycle count program, accuracy levels, discrepancy reconciliation and reporting. •Coordinates the activities of the warehouse personnel and assign tasks as necessary. This includes overseeing workflows and levels of activity to ensure product is delivered in a timely and effective manner.
•Responsible for the creation of annual financial budgets and forecasts, as well as variance reporting to plan.
•Act as the System Administrator for all Warehouse Management solutions. •Recruiting and retaining talent.
•Promotes, plans, initiates, and implements continuous improvement projects. •Assures compliance with internal standards and external regulations: State, Federal and local codes which encompass environmental protection, FDA and OSHA requirements.
•Ensure all employees are properly trained for the functions they are performing and ensure compliance with all regulatory agency requirements.
•Initiates, and maintains, Standard Operating Procedures to ensure cGMP compliance associated with all warehouse activities.
•Collaborates with a variety of functions including operations, buyers, QA, finance,
•Coordinates the warehouse safety program in conjunction with all OSHA, local, and state regulations.
•Oversees employee relations including the handling of inquiries, issue resolution, performance appraisals, and employee counseling.
•Analyzes performance metrics to ensure desired results are achieved, the facility is operating efficiently, and corrective and preventative actions are created and implemented when necessary.
•Coordinate PM activities for all Warehouse equipment and systems.
•Oversees the day-to-day activities performed by any outside contract warehouse or distribution operation
• All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy and Quality Management System as per your roles and responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS
• Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management or related business field with 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment (receiving, picking, inventory control).
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) as well as warehouse management systems.
• Must possess excellent computer skills including the Microsoft Suite of products.
• Must have a good understanding of budgeting and cost control.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
