The IT Asset Management team plays a pivotal role in shaping the Group’s technology landscape. We define policy, streamline processes, and implement industry-leading tools to maximise asset utilisation and ensure compliance with regulated controls.

We collaborate with a broad network of stakeholders to uplift data accuracy, enhance visibility, and minimise operational risk across the ecosystem through key strategic tools.

This role sits within the IT Asset Management practice and works in close partnership with the Configuration Management team, driving cohesive outcomes and shared success.

The role: 

As the ITAM Technical Product Owner you will lead and define the vision and roadmap for the product in partnership with business stakeholders and product management to maximise delivery of business value and support benefits realisation. You will manage the day to day activities with the team working closely with the process, governance and engineering teams. 

Job Description: 

Ability and authority to ensure daily end-to-end delivery of IT Asset Management services for the Group: 

  • Apply expertise to support prioritisation, balance trade-offs, and explore strategies to successfully achieve business outcomes

  • Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions and resolving escalations

  • Act as the voice of the business and translate this for the team

  • Reviewing critical incident outage resolution results and responses and dispositions of failed changes due to issues related to the IT Asset Management systems 

  • Mentoring the organisation of ITAM services, concepts, policies, and procedures  

  • Formulate hypotheses to validate customer problems and define clear learning objectives that will inform product roadmap and prioritisation decisions

  • Identify, articulate and manage risks and compliance across streams of work

  • Lead and develop the product roadmap, and engagement with senior stakeholders/business units to manage the delivery of product roadmap

  • Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed to

We’re interested in hearing from people with  

  • Strong experience working in a large, complex IT environment supporting financial institution

  • Experience in Flexera, ServiceNow and other key ITAM tools/systems, is highly desirable 

  • Risk Mindset – All Group employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks

  • Demonstrated stakeholder management experience 

  • Ability to hold your own workshops and/or 1:1 trainings

  • Experience with Agile methodology is desirable 

  • Critical and analytical mindset

  • Strong customer focus to ensure the Group is protected
