As WSS Sales & Service Manager Norway, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operations and P&L of our Water Solutions Services (WSS) business in Norway. You will lead and develop both sales and service teams, turning strategy into execution and ensuring excellent customer experiences nationwide. The role reports to the Director WSS Sales & Service Central and Eastern Europe and Nordics, based in Germany.
Working closely with Norwegian and Nordic colleagues and cross-functional teams, you will share best practices and contribute to strong alignment with Xylem’s values, sustainability ambitions, and long-term business goals.
Your team is located in Bergen and Hamar, with one sales resource and one service technician at each site. You will be based at our Hamar office, working closely with two WSS colleagues. The site also hosts Xylem colleagues within sales and service supporting other parts of the business. As the local site and facilities responsible, you will play an important role in fostering a safe, welcoming, and engaging workplace – a place where colleagues feel supported, connected, and proud to be part of Xylem.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop sales and service teams across Norway
Drive sales growth and build strong customer relationships
Own day-to-day operations and P&L for WSS Norway
Turn strategy into clear plans, goals, and follow-up
Improve ways of working across service, rental, logistics, and sales
Work closely with other Nordic teams and share best practices
Ensure a safe and inclusive working culture
What You Bring
Several years of experience in sales, service, operations, or branch management, preferably within industrial, infrastructure, water, or technical services
Proven experience leading and developing teams, ideally across multiple locations or functions
Strong commercial mindset with solid understanding of P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and KPIs
A collaborative, people-focused leadership style with clear communication skills
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership
Fluent in Norwegian and English
Academic degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is an advantage
