The Distributors Lead Russia and CIS role entails responsibility and accountability for the effective development and execution of sales plans and initiatives for all business units within the assigned Region (Russia and CIS countries). Responsible for leading distributor sales performance in achieving sales targets in the country/region, working within the Company's policies/procedures and the assigned expense budget. Develop and manage business/sales plans that align with the company's annual goals and objectives.

What will you be doing?

  • Works with managers, business leaders, sales and marketing departments, as well as directly with distributors and clients, responsible for achieving sales goals through Smith+Nephew organizations and through Smith+Nephew-designated distributors in the country/region.
  • Participates in the development of business/sales strategies for profitable sales growth and effectively communicates the sales team and distributor management strategy to ensure its implementation.
  • Coordinates and sets sales targets for all divisions at the country/region level to achieve or exceed sales growth targets.
  • Directs the sales department to achieve sales targets, develop new business, and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Forecasts sales, resource needs, current expenses, and sales-related costs. - Implements the pricing strategy developed by franchising leaders and ensure each market meets its target profitability.
  • Responsible for accounts receivable collection, working in collaboration with the team in this function.
  • Reports on sales performance of all products, business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Manages and influences key opinion leaders and key clients.
  • Leads, motivates, monitors, and evaluates the performance of the team and individuals. - Supports, identifies new clients, and grows the existing client base.
  • Builds strong relationships with distributors and clients.
  • Complies with local legislation, respects the company's policies, principles, values, and conduct in business guidance, and protects all company assets, including inventory levels, if applicable.
  • Leads by example in embodying the company's vision, values, and leadership competencies.
  • Proactively develops the business through high levels of activity and extensive networks.
  • Monitors, manages, and controls overall sales volumes. The Employee is required, in accordance with the procedures provided by the Company's internal documents on Training Equipment

What will you need to be successful?

  • Proven experience in med tech, pharma, or medical devices industry.
  • Strong understanding of the health care system, policies, and market dynamics.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on leadership skills.
  • 5-8 years of people management experience.
  • Ability to travel for business up to 50%.
