This role is within the EDS segment, and you will be joining that segment as it becomes its own entity, with a rich heritage and proven track record as a global leader in low and high voltage power and signal distribution systems. The RtR Accountant will perform within the Company's values and culture. With a one team approach and a passion for results we develop ability to think and act like the owner of our company business. RTR team plays a significant role performing month end activities, reconciling balance sheet accounts, supporting internal and external audits in order to present accurate financial information.
We are looking for proactive people with problem solving attitude, capable to anticipate potential opportunities and being keen on continuous improvement of the processes.
Your Role:
Preparing and processing journal entries (e.g. calculation and booking of accruals/provisions)
Processing fixed assets transactions
Processing payroll files
Adhering to a strict month end closing schedule
Reconciling general ledger accounts
Analyzing and researching as needed to ensure accurate financial information
Solving problems, recognize continuous improvement areas within the process, taking part in process improvement projects
Your Background:
1-3 years of professional experience in finance and accounting
Master’s Degree in either of the following areas: Finance/Accounting/Economics or completed accounting courses
Very good working knowledge of Excel
Fluent English skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
SAP/QAD knowledge would be an asset
