SAP Grow Vice President

Regional Sales Director: 

SUMMARY:
The Vice President, SAP Sales leads a team of SAP sellers, focused on companies in SAP’s High Growth and Mid Market segments.  This team is responsible for the overall sales engagement with new and existing customers with a focus on SAP solutions, implementation and managed services.  Strong collaboration skills are required as this role will work closely with Marketing, Presales, Solution Architecture, and Operations (among other groups) to build and execute a strategy supporting a high-growth, fast moving business.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for effectively managing company’s Sales process to ensure best practices are followed in:
•Leading a team of 8-10 sellers across North America
•Management of prospecting and pipeline development activities
•Serving as the executive sponsor for clients during and after sales engagements
•Maintaining a strong understanding of all customer sales engagements
•Managing the overall health and accuracy of CRM for all customers, prospects and channel opportunities 
•Participate in company market events as necessary
This individual will also be expected to work with the highest level of integrity in the following tasks:
•Assist with maximizing revenue generation and contribution to company operating profit and increase the value added to the company.
•Demonstrate the ability to translate business requirements into optimally performing solution designs.
•Keep up to date with competitors’ activities and initiatives and customer trends. 
•Assist with creating marketing strategies for new and existing service offerings.
•Lead weekly sales meetings 
•Participate in senior leadership meetings to keep the management team fully informed of sales issues and progress 
•Attend conferences/workshops internally and externally.
To be successful, the candidate must possess a high-level knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, subscription/licensing motions, associated professional services and managed services engagements. 

QUALIFICATIONS 
This position is highly visible within SAP and the successful candidate will have a strong SAP network, preferably having led sales teams at SAP in the past.

EDUCATION AND/ OR EXPERIENCE 
•Minimum 4-year Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
•Minimum 5 years in a direct SAP S/4HANA sales role
•Minimum 5 years in a first line leadership position, managing field sellers, preferably at SAP or a large SAP SI

COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have significant working knowledge of Microsoft office products & Salesforce.com.  Additional sales related tools is a plus.
