As Marcom Specialist, (m/f/d) you will own and develop BorgWarner’s marketing communication and lead brand management for the Aftermarket (IAM).
You will not only execute campaigns but actively shape brand positioning, messaging, and content strategy, ensuring that BorgWarner and BERU are clearly positioned, differentiated, and consistently represented in the IAM market.
Your mission is to translate product and brand strategy into compelling, customer-relevant communication that drives awareness, supports sell-out, and strengthens long-term customer relationships.

We are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Communication Specialist to support the development and execution of marketing communication activities for BorgWarner’s Aftermarket business. In this role, you will help translate brand and product strategy into clear, engaging and customer-focused communication through digital, print, PR, events and marketing materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead brand management for BorgWarner and BERU in the IAM, ensuring consistent positioning and messaging across all channels.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing communication campaigns supporting business and brand objectives.
  • Create compelling content and storytelling for campaigns, products, and key business initiatives.
  • Translate technical product information into clear customer benefits and value propositions.
  • Manage the development of marketing materials, including brochures, digital assets, product communication, and launch materials.
  • Support PR activities and external communications in alignment with corporate standards.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing, Event Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and external agencies to deliver impactful marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing communications, branding, or related areas.
  • Experience in automotive or aftermarket will be a strong advantage.
  • Proven experience in campaign development, content creation, and brand management.
  • Strong ability to transform technical topics into clear, engaging, and customer-focused communication.
  • Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills in English.
  • Strong project management skills, hands-on mindset and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with agencies, creative partners and cross-functional teams.
