The Compl Bus Control Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

• The successful candidate serves as SME in Risk & Control Escalation Oversight matters that require critical thinking, decision making skills and management abilities that grant a challenging atmosphere with high exposure to all levels.
• The role involves close coordination and interaction with Business / Functions Heads, ICRM, ORM, IRM, global key stakeholders and other control and support functions
• Produce analytical report and follow ups, in a day-to-day basis, to all escalation cases reported in the area.
• Ensure that escalation events reported and uploaded in the local Escalation tool are correctly filled out and updated.
• Ensure that the action plans cover the risk identified in the escalation and follow-up the actions until the closure of the escalation
• Documentation of escalated cases based on the global escalation policy and with the feedback of ORM, ICRM, IRM and/or Business areas involved.
• Reviews the Credit Process and analyze it to find possible breaches and best practices.
Knowledge/Experience:
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
• At least 5+ years of experience in successfully managing Risk and Control-related programs (full project lifecycle, from conception over rollout and ongoing support), and processes
• Knowledge of credit process and Banca Empresarial e Institucional products.
• Knowledge of Escalation policy.
• Knowledge of the Credit process and the BEI Credit Products.
• Financial services industry experience required
• Strong knowledge of MS Office
