JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary Objective

The Senior Business Analyst – IT is responsible for managing and enhancing ERP business processes, ensuring seamless integration with organizational systems, and leveraging modern platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform for automation, collaboration, and reporting. The role also includes SQL development and infrastructure support to enable efficient business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, and optimize ERP workflows across core business functions.
  • Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to maintain system availability, cyber security, and scalability.
  • Design and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) for dashboards, workflows, and automation.
  • Provide technical support and user training for ERP and non-ERP systems, BI tools
  • Work with cross-functional teams to address system enhancements and troubleshoot issues.
  • Participate in system implementation projects, adhering to SDLC best practices for design, development, and deployment.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor projects to ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.

Knowledge, Education & Experience

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of ERP (BPCS or SAP) business processes (Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain).
  • Knowledge of AS/400, OS/400, RPG, WRKQRY, DSPF, and PRTF.
  • Proficiency in databases (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2) with expertise in writing complex SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts (servers, networking, cyber security).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Experience with modern IT tools and technologies
  • Understanding of system implementation methodologies and SDLC principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (BSCS or MCS).
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
