About the Role:

The Global Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support strategic initiatives that advance Biogen’s global EHS programs and sustainability goals. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to enterprise-level EHS systems, global compliance frameworks, and programs that shape Biogen’s proactive safety culture across all regions and functions. You will work directly with global EHS leaders on projects that strengthen governance, enable data-driven decision-making, and support continuous improvement across our worldwide operations. This internship is ideal for students interested in EHS, sustainability, environmental science, life sciences, public health, or related fields.
What You’ll Do:
The EHS Intern will assist with implementation, improvement, and monitoring of global EHS programs and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities may include:

Education Requirements
Current enrollment in a degree program in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Public Health, Biology, Chemistry, Sustainability, or a related field.
Additional Information
The actual hourly wage offered will consider the candidate’s current academic level and degree candidacy, inclusive of Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, JD, MD, PhD and MBA programs. It will comply with state or local minimum wage requirements specific to the job location.
