What we offer:

Experienced software developer to create software application functionality and configuration using commercial development tools and applications based on customer and / or project performance, design, and testing requirements.

This is What You Will do in This Role:

  • Create elegant solutions for some of the most complex material handling and logistics projects in the world
  • Deliver large, impactful, and meaningful enterprise projects while working in a small, nimble, and flexible start-up environment
  • Collaborate with highly cross-functional, Agile teams to build out new customer features and functionality
  • Develop high-quality code and unit test 
  • Works independently and within a team with some coaching required
  • Works with peers to solve complex problems
  • Continually improving skill level through certifications and training
  • Travel across North America to customer sites to validate system functionality and testing (approximately 20%)   

Tasks and Qualifications:

Required:

  • BS - Computer Science (or other Engineering Degree)
  • Combination of 3 - 5 years software development
  • Proficient knowledge in minimum of 1 object-oriented languages
  • Proficient in at least 1 other language
  • Basic knowledge of at least 2 operating systems
  • Proficient knowledge of minimum 1 Dematic Software Application (Internal)

Preferred:

  • Java EE Proficiency
  • Automation or material handling industry experience
  • Lean training
