Overview of the Role:

Dave & Buster’s Inc. is seeking an experienced, creative, and passionate Social Media Manager to support Dave & Buster’s & Main Event’s social media strategy through management of content on social media channels. This position will play a key role in ideation, planning, and posting of content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X.

The position will suit an out of the box problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is fascinated by how brands build affinity with their core audiences. The perfect candidate will be a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual who has a genuine interest in social media, excellent communication skills, and
most importantly loves to have FUN!

A Day in the Life of a Social Media Manager:

  • In partnership with the Director of Digital Marketing and respective Brand teams, manage social calendar and overall platform strategies for Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok.
  • Assist with day-to-day communication with internal teams, stores/centers, and external agencies
  • Support Community Management needs
  • Create and edit content that is optimized for social platforms
  • Collaborate with multiple internal and external partners to make social content compelling for core audiences
  • Maintain proficiency and knowledge in all the latest social media trends and best practices
  • Analyze performance of social content and craft actionable insights and recommendations to optimize strategy
  • Closely track emerging trends, tools, and platforms within the social and digital space

What You Will Need To Have

  • 4+ years related experience
  • Curiosity and passion for all things social media, arcades, and OOH Entertainment
  • Proven track record in driving a successful social media strategy
  • Experience using analytics tools to identify trends, communicate insights, and provide recommendations
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools
  • Basic Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro knowledge (or similar tools)
  • Familiarity with current and emerging social platforms and trends
  • Ability to work quickly and juggle multiple tasks
  • Highly motivated with an eagerness to learn
  • Flexible and capable of changing and adapting to accommodate internal and external circumstances
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically, and analytically
  • Collaborative, team-player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
