Job Summary**
Responsible for ensuring the optimal functionality, safety, and efficiency of Jabil's facilities and infrastructure through effective planning, maintenance, and project management.
Job Responsibilities**
* Oversee and manage the preventative and corrective maintenance programs for all facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, and building automation systems.
* Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
* Develop and implement facility improvement projects, from conception to completion, including scope definition, budget management, vendor selection, and project oversight.
* Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., manufacturing, IT, EHS) to understand facility needs and provide timely and effective solutions.
* Manage facility-related budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
* Respond to and resolve facility emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
* Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
* Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors and service providers for facility-related services.
* Participate in the design and construction review of new facilities or expansions.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in facilities engineering or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) and their maintenance.
* Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
* Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), and environmental standards.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
