The Agent Onboarding Specialist is responsible for supporting the Agent Onboarding Manager throughout the process of licensing for pre-need sales agents. This role will have close ties to the administration process and teams various carriers the company works with ensuring seamless onboarding, licensing and appointment process.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain close ties to carrier administration team to ensure timely processing of agent appointment
- Track status of agent appointment processing from background checks to course enrollment, application, and carrier on boarding
- Ensure systems readiness post onboarding to prevent delays for PN sales
- Develop tracking for any continuing education requirements to keep agent licensing active
- Support and facilitate onboarding events during new state launches
- Maintain schedule for proctored courses and exams where applicable
- Partner with Sales Development and Human resources for a cohesive overall onboarding employee experience
- Facilitate and provide support for agent license renewals
- Support other operational activities as needed
MINIMUM Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high touch customer environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced or expert-level skill in using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment
- Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions
- Comply with corporate dress code policy
- In office position with flexibility for Teleworking twice per week

- Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day; May climb stairs to access buildings frequently

- Working beyond “standard” hours as the need arises
