WORK YOU’LL DO
As a Test Coordinator, you will play an integral role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the solutions we provide to our clients, by being involved in the quality assurance stage of software development. You will be part of various projects, evaluating and ensuring the software quality. You will be planning, estimating, controlling and reporting on all test activities of a project
Responsibilities:
Develop the master test approach for the project
Develop and manage the overall functional test schedule across the various test stages
Develop and manage the user involvement plan for the various test stages
Manage the user stakeholders to finalise the test scenarios to be used during test execution
Manage external system vendors participation in functional testing
Manage the Test team to prepare the test scripts for test Execution
Performs risk analysis and initiate action to mitigate risk
Manages the test and fix teams to resolve & escalate critical open issues and defects
Works with the Functional team to resolve any design-related defects
Manages the progress and test results to ensure that testing is on time and are within the project scope and are internally consistent
WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar relevant degree.
3 years of relevant experience.
Basic project management skills.
Knowledge of software development processes.
Ability to develop and manage all aspects of the testing effort, including plans, interdependencies and schedule.
Ability to document and communicate the status of testing progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary.
Understanding of testing concepts and how testing fits in with the overall project life cycle.
Knowledge and experience with test and defect management tools: Jira, Azure Devops etc.
Banking experience would be considered an advantage.
Serve as a liaison between Software Engineering and the business community.
