At DXC Spain we are looking for a Network Engineer to join our great team of Networks and participate in an important project in bank sector.

Requirements:

• At least 4 year of technical (IT) exposure in an operational environment.
• Industry certifications such as Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), Fortinet (NSE5, NSE7), etc.
• Good understanding of network and internet protocols. Experience with Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN / WiFi)
• Experience with Cisco and Arista Switches
• Experience in Virtual network environments like Cisco ACI and NSX.
• Able to propose workarounds during times of crisis to get customers working again. May perform On-Calls.

Tasks:

• Work with a ticketing tool solving incidents, implementing changes and create and solve problems.
• Troubleshooting flaws in software, hardware configuration, communications equipment, and then fixing problems as they arise. Resolve network problems reported by end user. Checking equipment logs for issues.
• Solve monitoring problems and maximizing network performance. Evaluating network performance, including in local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless local area network (WLANs).
• Setting up new network devices.
• Maintaining and upgrading existing networks device, software, and other programs to keep networks secure. Decommission obsolete equipment. Audit access control lists and permissions. Inventory assets and update diagrams. Securely back up running configurations.
• Failover and High availability test.
