Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to troubleshooting, ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, continuously monitoring and analyzing system behavior to prevent disruptions and enhance overall efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and minimize downtime.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth.
- Continuously evaluate system processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Experience in managing and maintaining SAP environments including system installations, configurations, and upgrades.
- Strong knowledge of system performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with database administration and backup/recovery procedures related to SAP systems.
- Ability to work with operating systems and network components that support SAP infrastructure.
- Skilled in analyzing system logs and identifying root causes of technical issues.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
