The Advisor position is an exciting and unique role within Supply Chain. We are looking for someone who has a strong safety culture and can deliver improvement opportunities to advance the program.

Minimum Requirements:         

  • Four years of relevant work experience with a degree or equivalent combination of education and experience management

  • Proficient in Microsoft suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills

  • Exceptional track record in building positive relationships with internal/external customers and stakeholders

  • An understanding of contracting and commercial concepts and processes

  • Ability to leverage a wide range of influencing techniques

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your safety expertise and partner with the program supplier to ensure safe onsite operations of the branch stores, toolcribs and Keepstock (VMI/vending) programs

  • Support supplier with incident investigation/corrective action activities where required

  • Troubleshoot user program access issues and ensure when service disruptions occur, users can access products offered by the program

  • Act as the integration point for program stakeholders

  • Ensure supplier is meeting operational requirements and service levels

  • Educate stakeholders on the program channels, benefits and user consumption history

  • Identify and implement opportunities to grow transactional volume in the program

  • Define and implement program optimization opportunities

  • Manage user web account set up and new product additions to the program

  • Support operational stewardship activities

Location and other Key Details:

  • You will either work out of our Base Plant Mine or Syncrude Mine in Fort McMurray, Alberta

  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
