Job Responsibilities:
Job Title:
Specialist, Automotive Embedded Cybersecurity Software
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement security features for automotive embedded systems, including secure boot, hardware security modules, encryption, and access control mechanisms.
Integration of AUTOSAR Crypto Stack from Vector and configuration according to OEM requirements
Integration and configuration of SCC HSM (Hardware Security module)
Integration and configuration of SecOC(Secure on bord communication) according to the OEM requirements
Integration of OEM Specific SW packages
Development of the Security features which are not provided by the OEM or SCC
Analyzing of work item – according to ALM process
Collaborate with vehicle system engineers and software teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into embedded control units and electronic modules.
Stay current with automotive cybersecurity standards such as ISO 21434, SAE J3061, and industry best practices.
Develop and validate security test plans and procedures for embedded automotive hardware and firmware.
Support the certification process by documenting security controls, risk assessments, and compliance evidence.
Knowledge & Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic / Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Work experience & Qualifications:
Proven experience developing or securing embedded automotive systems or similar safety-critical embedded platforms.
Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, and Automotive Ethernet security considerations.
Expertise in embedded OS / RTOS, firmware development, and security features like secure boot, hardware root of trust, and encryption.
Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity standards (ISO 21434, SAE J3061) and safety standards (ISO 26262).
Proficiency in C, C++, and scripting languages used in automotive development.
Experience with hardware security modules, trusted platform modules, and secure elements.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality. Relevant certifications in cybersecurity or automotive security standards.
Experience with automotive over-the-air updates (OTA) security.
Familiarity with automotive cyberattack scenarios and defense strategies.
Knowledge of automotive network security architectures and intrusion
