Meet the Team:

Lead Dexcom’s marketing strategy, execution and team for Australia and New Zealand, driving adoption of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) technology and Tandem insulin pumps across healthcare professionals (HCPs), payers, and consumers. This role ensures strong brand positioning, DTC/HCP marketing, market access support, and competitive differentiation in a highly regulated medical device environment.

Strategic Leadership

  • Own the ANZ marketing plan aligned with global and APAC priorities, focusing on increasing revenue + new patients, reimbursement, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and execute integrated campaigns across DTC & HCP with strong digital engagement and patient + HCP education to accelerate adoption.
  • Drive pricing and positioning strategies tailored to ANZ market dynamics and reimbursement tiers.
  • Develop and provide strategic planning and commercial input to the development of the business.

Market & Customer Focus:

  • Defines market segments, targets and helps positions products and campaigns across marketing plan.
  • Identifies new opportunities and customers needs.

Market Development & Advocacy

  • Partner with Market Access teams to support advocacy and evidence generation for reimbursement expansion.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (diabetes associations, private health insurers) to strengthen Dexcom’s value proposition.
  • Partner with market research teams and consultants to analyse market trends and implement data driven strategic insights into marketing plans. 

Brand & Communication

  • Ensure compliance with MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) guidelines for all promotional materials.
  • Lead creative development aligned with Dexcom’s global messaging framework, adapting for local cultural and regulatory nuances.

Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Manage and mentor a team of 14 downstream marketers across ANZ and collaborate closely with cross functional and commercial leads.
  • Work closely with APAC & Global Product Management to support feature launches and lifecycle initiatives.

Performance, Insights & Budgets

  • Monitor campaign and project ROI, market share trends, and competitive intelligence to optimise strategies.
  • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on KPIs and strategic progress across campaigns, behaviour insights and overall marketing plan performance
  • Manage ANZ marketing budgets across the diabetes division and portfolio of products.

What makes you successful:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a medical field based degree.
  • You have +/- 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare across HCP/DTC in medical devices, with a proven track record of success from concept development to launch and beyond.
  • You have demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Management experience.
  • You have sound knowledge of the relevant market space, competitor offerings, and industry trends.
  • You have good knowledge of the major healthcare systems in ANZ.
  • You have strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset to measure marketing impact and optimize strategies.
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with global, regional, and local management teams.
  • You have familiarity with market research, business strategy, partner management, and relevant studies.

Travel Required:

  • 15-25%
