What is the Specialist - Investment & Trade Operations group responsible for?

  • Perform Fund of Fund orders execution, confirmation, completion & money movement by coordinating with Front Office, Transfer Agency, Custody.

  • Also responsible for performing multiple Front office specific orientated tasks and delivery of service to a variety of external/internal clients and business partners.

  • Collaborate with various internal and external teams to onboard accounts.

  • Manage daily BAU without any issues. Ensure to deliver the service levels within TAT. Monitor mailboxes to ensure there are no unread/unattended emails. Handle critical enquiries.

  • Resolves and escalates production issues. Should be able to analyze the root cause of the problems and place appropriate controls. Heatmaps should be tracked.

  • Track errors, identify reason & guide the team members.

  • Conducting training.

Projects Initiatives & Events:

  • Actively participate and lead Global; Trade Service initiatives, Business Continuity testing, system user enhancement testing and Complex FOF workflow set up Review meetings.

  • Other projects assigned by management.

  • Aid in staff cross-training and procedure manuals.

  • Provide support for on-boarding activities including participating Front office /custodian meetings.

  • System/account maintenance for changes resulting from events.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

  • 4 + years Investment Management industry experience and knowledge, knowledge of complete fund operations.

  • Ability to take ownership/responsibility of work product and meet deadlines.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization especially front office.

  • Experience in Mutual fund operations would be great and not limited only for order placement and good to have compliance knowledge.
