Position Purpose: This position will support the success of Centene's mission transforming the health of the communities we serve, one person at time through creating a tighter connection between the shared services operations and the business. This role, within the Operations Strategy & Partnership team, will play a key role building and defining the appropriate internal workflows and connections to drive effectiveness and efficiencies.

  • Support development of the business partnership model to enable market and lines of business goals through people, process, technology, and controls review
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to design improved communication workflow and governance model between operations and the business
  • Develop templates for standardized cross-functional operations reporting packets in conjunction with key stakeholders to push out communications around key initiatives, issue updates, best practice sharing, and broader strategic goals
  • Collaborate with markets, products, and operations to keep a pulse on all communications, identify gaps, and drive ongoing improvements
  • Support execution of cross-functional forums driving two-way communications between operations and the business to drive company objectives and share best practices, as appropriate
  • Identify key process gaps as part of existing partnership model; develop structure to improve such gaps and collaborate with stakeholders to execute and measure effectiveness of such improvements
  • Support codifying best practices and cascading in appropriate forums
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience required
  • 7+ years of related experience required
  • Experience in Health Plan Operations
  • Excellent collaborator and excels at stakeholder alignment
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to operate in complex, matrixed environments
  • Demonstrated success in navigating ambiguity
  • Develop and deliver effective presentations
  • Ability to make recommendations to upper management

Pay Range: $142,300.00 - $263,500.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
