Join ACCIONA Energia as a Project Control Engineer, where you'll estimate costs, develop project schedules, and coordinate planning activities. Based in Melbourne or Brisbane, this role sits within our new PMO team and reports to the Project Management Office Manager. You'll enjoy broad responsibilities across estimating, scheduling, and managing renewable projects from start to finish.

Schedule

• Prepare, monitor, and update project schedules from estimation to completion.
• Implement effective resource allocation within schedules.
• Engage in discussions on progress, critical paths, and risk mitigation.

Cost

• Analyse and provide feedback on CAPEX cost estimates.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather accurate cost data and validate estimates
• Assess estimates for labour, materials, equipment, and other project costs.

Reports

• Produce reports including S-curves, quantity/man-hour summaries, forecasts, milestone tables, and critical path analysis.
• Develop content for project reporting and monthly progress meetings.

General

• Assist with Technical Investment Memo development and project cost management.
• Foster relationships with teams across Australia and Spain for integrated project delivery.

Please note: The formal title for this role will be PMO Estimator and Scheduler.

• Degree in engineering or relevant discipline.
• Experience in project cost, estimating, and schedule control.
• Deep understanding of planning and construction methodologies including first principles estimation experience.
• Formal training in project programming software (preferably Primavera) and advanced in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
