Job Summary
As an Americas Commercial Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies focused on supporting Dealer Service Engineered Tools throughout their lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with product management, customer support, and marketing teams to create dealer specific tool requirements, increase dealers tooling capabilities, provide regional support for service tools and services. This person will provide expertise on service tools, inventory and tooling best practices. Ultimately the creation of tooling needs by dealer is required to provide support to commercial teams in achieving services growth goals through increased efficiency provided through our tooling.

In addition to working onsite at our facility in Peoria, IL, our hybrid work model allows employees the flexibility to work from home based on business needs. You will be required to be on site a minimum of three days per week, which is subject to change based on business needs as time progresses.

This position requires up to 25% of working time travel, both domestic and international.
What You Will Do:
Educate and effectively communicate technical product features and capabilities to internal and external partners
Ensure all product marketing materials are updated and accurate (spec sheets, product pages, virtual tours, product visuals, etc.)
Lead product marketing launch activities - coordination, authoring, reviews, approval, and timelines for all product launches and annual product updates.
Lead development of a go-to-market strategy within each product vertical, including target markets, product rollout, and product marketing strategy.
Large Account Management: You will be responsible for the relationship with our largest new Dealer Service Tool supplier. You will be responsible for monthly and quarterly promotions requiring 6+ months of planning and preparation.
Dealer Training and Enablement: Collaborate with product and training teams to develop training materials and resources for dealers, such as webinars, workshops, and knowledge bases. Provide guidance on best practices and tips to optimize tooling at individual dealers.
Dealer and User Feedback Management: Implement processes for collecting, analyzing, and acting upon customer feedback to drive product improvements Dealer Service Engineered Tools to enhance the overall customer experience. Work closely with internal teams to prioritize feature requests and address customer pain points.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including commercial teams, DSD, and district teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and customer experience. Act as a liaison between teams to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement. Dealer direct involvement is required when internal teams request on-site support.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Responsible for 10% year over year growth of Dealer Service Engineered Tools. Use a data-backed approach to analyze dealer tooling profile and its operations to develop and align the marketing strategies with the Dealer Service Tool team’s goals and objectives.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation specific to service data and tools used to drive services growth. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product support strategies and enhance our competitive position.
What You Have:
Bachelor's degree or experience in the field of tooling will be accepted in lieu of a degree
Proven experience in product marketing, customer support, or related roles, with a focus on customer engagement and retention
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and content
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
What Will Set You Apart:
Strong understanding of tools and how dealers use tools today
Previous experience working with tools in an environment where tooling is required to increase efficiency or capabilities
High level of interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills
Familiarity of SIS, parts.cat.com, and other consumers of service data
Proficient in both English and Spanish
