About the Role

Customer Centricity - This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly.

The role operates as a dual-hatted position: (1) a Transformation Partner for responsible functions, driving end-to-end strategy planning and execution; and (2) a domain SME in analytics and AI, leading the identification, prioritisation, and scaling of high-impact use cases to drive business growth and productivity. It ensures strong alignment between business strategy, data, and technology capabilities, translating strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and delivering measurable outcomes while accelerating adoption of AI-driven solutions across the organisation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Transformation Partner – Strategy & Execution

  • Act as a trusted partner to assigned business functions, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, workstreams and measurable milestones
  • Provide strategic advice and perspective to business functions, shaping initiatives and challenging assumptions to strengthen alignment with enterprise priorities
  • Drive end-to-end strategy execution, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and achieve defined outcomes
  • Partner with the Strategy team to support development of business cases and annual strategic plans, ensuring strong linkage between strategy, investment and execution
  • Align on key outcomes, KPIs and targets, and track progress through a disciplined performance management rhythm
  • Operate as a single, accountable execution engine with clear priorities, ownership, and delivery cadence across initiatives
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve performance and outcomes
  • Facilitate coordination across teams to ensure integrated and consistent delivery

Domain SME – AI Growth Initiatives

  • Define and maintain a clear enterprise analytics and AI transformation roadmap for business growth initiatives
  • Commercialise AI by translating business strategy into prioritised use cases and identifying gaps, overlaps, and interdependencies to ensure cohesive execution
  • Establish and manage a use case pipeline, prioritised based on value, feasibility, and strategic fit, with clear governance to ensure effective resource allocation
  • Track progress across initiatives, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks
  • Act as the central coordinator across business, analytics, and technology teams for AI and digital initiatives to ensure seamless execution, including structured intake, prioritisation, and handoffs with clear roles and accountability
  • Drive change management and innovation initiatives aligned with enterprise strategy, embedding structured approaches for ideation, piloting, scaling, and value measurement
  • Ensure adoption of AI initiatives and translate innovation into measurable business and customer outcomes
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders to drive alignment and AI adoption, support decision-making through structured insights, and foster a data-driven culture across functions
  • Work closely with Group Office Innovation Office

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor degree in Business, post graduate degree is a plus
  • At least 8 years of working experience in Insurance and Financial industry
  • Solid PMO / Analytics / AI experience is preferable
  • Experience in consulting advisory is preferable
  • Has worked in various business functions within an Insurance / Financial institution
  • Proficient practitioner in project management and has led major cross function teams in projects
  • Excellent leadership skills, team player and ability to influence
  • Excellent communication skills and able to communicate with senior executives effectively
  • Strategic thinking and judgment
  • Strong drive for results and accountability
  • Ability to challenge constructively and influence outcomes
  • High adaptability in complex environments
  • Proficient in English and Chinese written and presentation skills
  • Ensure team members who perform regulated activities have obtained the relevant licenses and fulfilled the licensing requirements
  • The role holder demonstrates a strong commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs.
