Sr. Manager, Integrated Business Planning

As a Sr Manager within the Integrated Business Planning team, you will be responsible to coordinate with stakeholders in Corporate Strategy, Manufacturing Central Teams, TD, BU, Operations and Finance to create and drive approval of Micron’s 3-year Operations Planning and/or 5-year Strategic Plan. This position will be directly driving alignment toward the company’s financial, market and operations strategy which is recognized by all organizations.

This role will be primarily responsible for guiding and managing the Mexico based Integrated Business Planning team within Operations Planning. You will be responsible for KPIs pertaining to Micron’s monthly and quarterly business planning process. This role requires someone with a good executive presence, strong analytical skills and business acumen.

Expertise in planning systems and prior experience in digital transformation initiatives and planning systems enablement (implementing and improving system solutions) will be of key priority.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Collaborate with partners in Micron MFG to ensure alignment on capital and fab capacity plans

  • Collaborate with Micron BU and Finance to understand product roadmap, demand priorities, risks and opportunities, and business impacts.

  • Ability to proactively build scenario/range planning options and industrialize the process for long term implementation.

  • Ability to build and maintain planning/financial models for scenario planning with a faster turnover each cycle.

  • Internally communicate and guide discussion and considerations of impacts of various what-if scenarios for executive approval

  • Lead weekly review meetings with internal stakeholder groups to drive alignment and mutual understanding of gaps

  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement efforts.

  • Ensure successful publish of the 3-year manufacturing plan, shipment plan, and inventory plans and/or 5-year Strat plan in alignment with Executive Reviews and Approvals

The specified role does not encompass the following responsibilities: Finalization of sales agreements or the execution of sales contracts is prohibited. The role also does not carry the authority to make definitive decisions regarding contracts, be it their conclusion or termination. Furthermore, the role is not designed to involve participation in pricing negotiations or the authorization of contracts. These activities fall beyond the permissible duties of the position.

Bachelors Degree

Experience

Required

Minimum 5 year experience in any of the following:

Experience in capacity planning (FE/BE/BU Operations)

Experience presenting to executive leaders.

Experience driving cross functional collaboration and system/process level solution.

Prior experience managing a team will be a plus.

·  Excellent facilitation and issue resolution skills; ability to drive consensus

·  Ability to prioritize work and manage by exception

·  Ability to synthesize large amounts of quantitative and qualitative information and translate into meaningful strategies for Sr. Leaders

·  Detail oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills

·  Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)

·  Ability to work under continual deadline constraints

·  Experience in driving continuous improvement to processes, tools, reporting, and communications to achieve business objectives
